About the Photographer:

Photography has been a passion of mine since my youth. I have always been artistic by nature. I like to draw, paint, and mold but it was my mother who actually got me interested in this particular craft. She, herself, was a photographer who specialized in Black & Whites.
I admired her work so much I chose to emulate it. I have since developed my own signature style but I will always remember the interesting take she had on whatever subject matter she was trying to capture. She would simply use her mind to visualize what she wanted it to look like and then make it so. This is something I believe I inherited from her. Her unique prospective inspired and ignited my own creativity to the point I seen it as a challenge, more like a competition, something that has always been a driving force in my life. I became a Marine for that very reason and entered the race world shortly thereafter. I guess you can say I have always had a need for speed as well as thrived on competition so I guess it was only natural for me to go into both Drag and Dirt Track. I was even a two-time Track Champion in the Hornet Division! I still like to race as I doubt I will ever lose the thrill and excitement that I get from it but as I have gotten older, I have found myself drawn back into the world of photography more and more. The fact that I get to combine my lifelong love of music with my passion for photography, as I do specialize in Concert Photography, only makes what I do now that much more enjoyable. Can I do other stuff? Sure! I have done both studio and outdoor photo shoots for Senior pics as well as portfolio builds for upcoming models. I even photographed many of the races I competed in, not at the same time obviously, but that would have been cool to try. I also enjoy photographing car and bike shows now but nothing will ever compare to the exhilaration of capturing other artists doing what they love to do. I have received many compliments through the years but the one that stands out the most is when I am told that people look at the photos I took and can feel like they were actually there or even for those present at the concert to be able to view the photos and relive the experience. This not only gives me pride in what I am doing, it drives me to want to become better and hone my craft.

"To actually live is the rarest thing in the world because most people simply exist so I LOVE
to capture those who are trying to live their best life to its fullest potential."
